Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Foreign Language Teacher to support Elementary & Middle School students in Goose Creek, SC. The role focuses on Mandarin for K-8, developing engaging lessons and hands-on activities.

The teacher will design and implement a foreign language curriculum, foster interactive learning, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to support student growth. 40-hour work week, on-site position with benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification REQUIRED.
• Experience teaching foreign language at the elementary and/or middle school level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a curriculum for foreign languages.
• Engage students in interactive, project-based learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative classroom environment.
• Participate in school-wide events and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance.
• Any other duties as assigned.
