Job description

Managing Yacht/Boat Broker North East. KMB Yachting is looking for an experienced yacht/boat broker to lead the expansion to the North East. The segment of luxury RIBs is expanding rapidly in the US. KMB Yachting represents two premier luxury brands of European RIBs for the US – Technohull and Capelli. We are looking for a person to create and lead the West Coast sales team. This is a commission-based, contractor position, which offers a lucrative compensation package.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Work closely with the owners of the company to create a region-specific sales strategy.
  2. Build and lead an experienced sales team to help in achieving the sales targets.
  3. Train and manage sales team members.
  4. Develop and execute strategies to increase market share.
  5. Create, maintain, and manage customer database.
  6. Create and implement a system for following up and completing action items.
  7. Work closely with KMB marketing to create strategies for participating in local functions – boat shows.

Compensation:

High Commissions - This is a commission-based compensation position - 1099.
Lucrative incentive program.

Qualifications and skills:

  1. 5+ years of experience in business, sales, or marketing.
  2. 3 years of experience in Yacht/Boat sales and/or operations.
  3. Proven leadership skills and experience.
  4. Self-motivated person.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  7. Skillful negotiation and presentation skills.
