Summary:

As an aligned executive, your role involves building assets, enhancing firm profitability, and increasing brand value by monetizing strategic investor relationships through a consultative fundraising model. You will provide investors with differentiated private credit, secondaries, and private equity investments across various fund structures and separate accounts, primarily covering regional investors such as RIAs, broker-dealer financial advisors, and family offices. You must have comprehensive, trusted, long-term relationships with investors and influencers, with a consultative approach to education and investment discussions. Your relationships should include some combination of RIAs, financial planners, broker/dealers, and/or family offices.

Position Description:

  • Build and maintain investor relationships to generate capital within your territory.
  • Educate financial advisors on Star Mountain’s products and services through meetings, seminars, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Assist in developing and executing business plans to meet fundraising goals.
  • Maintain activity logs and investor information in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to follow up on leads within your territory.
  • Travel approximately 2-3 days per week or as mutually agreed.
  • Perform additional duties to support business and brand growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of client services and fundraising experience.
  • Experience at a reputable asset management firm with multiple strategies preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology platforms for prospect management and pipeline tracking.
  • Knowledge of private credit and equity concepts and practices.
  • Extensive trusted relationships with investors.
  • Proven ability to grow relationships and raise capital regionally.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses (or Series 7, 63, and 65) required.

Timing: Immediate

Location: Remote in the Northeast with flexible work options, including the possibility to work from Star Mountain’s New York office.

Compensation: Base salary, bonus, and equity package aligned with organizational culture.
