Managing Director, TMT | Corporate Finance & Restructuring

What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day activities of consulting projects, including leadership, team interaction, and client engagement.
- Apply skills in business, economics, finance, and accounting to various client situations, including financial modeling, ratio analysis, financial statement review, business plan assessment, valuation, and due diligence.
- Prepare complex financial projections and models to analyze business processes and transactions.
- Develop detailed quantitative models to solve business problems and evaluate solutions based on key performance metrics.
- Research and analyze industry trends, events, and company developments in the media and communications sectors to build industry expertise.
- Maintain detailed records of assumptions, methodologies, and sources used during analysis.
- Ensure high-quality work and timely delivery of all project components.
- Draft reports, analyses, and presentations for clients, summarizing project findings and results.
- Organize data to facilitate access and analysis.
- Represent the firm professionally and project a professional image externally.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- At least 12 years of experience in Finance or Accounting/Audit.
- Extensive experience with Corporate Finance principles, financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and FTI offices.
Preferred Skills
- MBA, CPA, or CFE certifications.
- Experience in communications, media, consulting, or restructuring fields.
- Strong communication skills for demanding, deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based financial research tools.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of bankruptcy and litigation procedures.
