First Citizens Healthcare Finance provides comprehensive financing and banking solutions to middle market healthcare companies across the U.S. Using a client-focused and industry-centric model, Healthcare Finance can tailor its products and services to help clients meet their needs for growth capital.

This position is responsible for acquiring and managing and enhancing Healthcare Finance relationships supporting sponsor and non-sponsor backed middle market cash flow lendng. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, client outreach plan and quality referral sources. The Managing Director role is the primary contact to provide products and services which support the unique financial needs of clients. This position collaborates with various corporate partners to build and manage full banking relationships. May act as a team lead, mentor or resource for less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing - Utilizes direct calling on companies, private equity firms, advisors, and other centers of influence (COIs) to develop relationships and generate financing opportunities for clients. Stays informed on market and industry trends, and develops strategies based on changing market needs.
  • Relationship Development - Maintains and develops influential relationships within the market to create sales and referral opportunities. Manages customer and prospect relationships, referring sales partners or other associates as appropriate to carry sales relationships to completion.
  • Operations and Administration - Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines.
  • Loan Support - Works in partnership with underwriting and portfolio management teams to package deals for Credit Administration approval.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales

Preferred

  • 15 years’ experience developing and cultivating healthcare private equity and direct healthcare company banking and/or lending relationships.
  • MBA, Business Administration, Finance, Economics
  • Healthcare Financing, Leverage Finance, Sponsor Finance, Cash Flow Lending
  • Executing healthcare lending transactions and working in a Bank

The base pay for this position is generally between $275,000.00 and $375,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
