This position serves as the Managing Director responsible for creating and managing a new construction specialty line division, focusing on the development and implementation of new commercial General Liability, Auto, and Excess lines of business. Key responsibilities include refining a business case, executing the approved business plan, and driving growth and profitability across short, medium, and long-term horizons. The role involves system implementation, setting underwriting appetite, marketing, and establishing the division's strategic goals. It requires maintaining strong professional relationships with customers, employees, and within the enterprise to meet financial and strategic objectives.
Directly supervise professional and technical staff across locations, involved in hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee development, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Estimated range: $191,300 to $320,300, dependent on location, experience, and other factors.
