Job description

Simplify Asset Management is a rapidly growing ETF issuer dedicated to delivering institutional‑grade investment strategies through the transparency, liquidity, and tax efficiency of ETFs. Founded in 2020, Simplify has quickly become one of the most innovative firms in the ETF industry by designing portfolio solutions that help advisors solve real‑world challenges such as volatility management, income generation, and portfolio diversification.

Through the use of derivatives and advanced investment techniques, Simplify brings strategies historically reserved for institutions into accessible ETF structures for financial advisors and their clients.

We are seeking a Managing Director of ETF Sales — a proven rainmaker with deep relationships and a demonstrated ability to move significant AUM. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for a senior sales professional who thrives on closing large mandates and opening doors at the most sophisticated allocators in the industry.

Simplify is headquartered in Las Vegas with offices in New York City and Irvine, CA, though we are flexible on location depending on the candidate and territory coverage.

We are looking for a senior sales professional who lets their production do the talking — someone with elite relationships, a relentless drive to win new business, and the conviction to champion Simplify’s differentiated strategies with the industry’s top allocators and advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive significant new AUM directly through personal relationships and high‑conviction sales activity across RIA, wirehouse, bank, and independent broker‑dealer channels
  • Aggressively prospect and open new relationships with high‑value advisors, allocators, and institutions while deepening existing partnerships to grow wallet share
  • Own senior‑level relationships at top RIAs and other allocators, conducting high‑impact portfolio reviews, macro discussions, and investment presentations
  • Identify and capitalize on portfolio construction opportunities where Simplify’s strategies solve real client needs — including income generation, volatility management, and diversification — and translate those insights directly into new allocations
  • Maintain a disciplined personal coverage plan and sales pipeline, managing activity and opportunities with a relentless focus on closing
  • Partner with the investment and marketing teams to arm client conversations with compelling content, and leverage Simplify’s full resources to accelerate deal flow and deepen client conviction
  • Represent Simplify at premier industry conferences and advisor events as a high‑profile presence, using every opportunity to generate new business and strengthen key relationships
  • Secure platform approvals, model portfolio inclusions, and strategic allocations that expand Simplify’s reach and drive durable, recurring AUM growth
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of financial services sales experience with a consistent, verifiable track record of personally generating significant AUM and revenue
  • Deep expertise in ETF markets, derivatives‑based strategies, and advanced portfolio construction concepts across multiple asset classes
  • Established, senior‑level relationships across RIAs, wirehouses, &/or broker‑dealers allocators required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain C‑suite and senior relationships with key decision makers including CIOs, investment committees, portfolio managers, and platform gatekeepers
  • Exceptional track record of driving material AUM growth, building sales organizations, and closing large, complex distribution partnerships
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial sales professional with the hunger and discipline to function as a top individual producer in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills; able to represent Simplify credibly at the highest levels of client organizations
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to engage senior clients, attend key industry events, and support the broader distribution team
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or CAIA strongly preferred
Why Join Simplify
  • Rare opportunity to join one of the fastest‑growing ETF issuers in the industry at a pivotal stage of growth, with meaningful influence over firm direction and strategy
  • Highly differentiated ETF lineup built on institutional‑grade, derivatives‑based strategies that resonate strongly with sophisticated allocators and advisors
  • High‑autonomy, individual contributor role with the full backing of Simplify’s investment, marketing, and leadership teams — everything you need to focus on what you do best: selling
  • Direct access to the CEO and CIO — no bureaucracy, fast decisions, and a leadership team fully committed to supporting your success in the field
  • Highly competitive compensation package with uncapped incentive potential — top producers are rewarded accordingly
