Slalom, LLC in Atlanta seeks a Managing Director to lead Data & Technology Solutions growth in the Georgia-Alabama market. You will drive executive-level engagements, shape transformation programs, and build integrated offerings across data engineering, AI, and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity, develop go-to-market strategies, and mentor GTM leaders while guiding clients through enterprise data strategies and AI adoption.

• Help organizations build data foundations enabling machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation.
• Guide clients through AI readiness, governance, operating models, and enterprise-scale implementation.
• Connect business priorities to technology investments, architecture decisions, and transformation roadmaps.
• Serve as trusted advisor on responsible AI, risk management, and value realization.
• Design and communicate enterprise data and AI architectures to executives and technical audiences.
• Facilitate architecture workshops with client stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Lead solution strategy for data platforms covering ingestion, transformation, governance, analytics, ML, and AI.
• Advise on cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and aligned to business objectives.
• Shape solutions leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Dataiku, Fivetran, Matillion and related platforms.
• Guide enterprise adoption of lakehouse architectures, data products, governance, and modern engineering practices.
• Lead conversations around generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, and AI-enabled processes.
• Partner with delivery teams to maintain architectural integrity from strategy to implementation.
• Build, mentor, and inspire GTM leaders and high-performing teams.

This role isnoteligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Atlanta, GA office and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office when needed. This role could require travel to support the region between 25-30%.

Who You'll Work With

As a Managing Director in Slalom's Data & Technology Solutions capability, you will lead the growth of our data, cloud, and software engineering business in our Georgia Alabama market.

• Connect business priorities to technology investments, architecture decisions, and transformation roadmaps.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on responsible AI, risk management, and value realization.

• Facilitate architecture workshops and whiteboard sessions with client stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Lead solution strategy for modern data platforms spanning ingestion, transformation, governance, analytics, machine learning, and AI.
• Advise clients on cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and aligned to business objectives.
• Shape solutions leveraging technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Dataiku, Fivetran, Matillion, and related platforms.
• Guide enterprise adoption of lakehouse architectures, data products, data governance, metadata management, and modern engineering practices.
• Lead conversations around generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, and AI-enabled business processes.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure architectural integrity from strategy through implementation.
• Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams of GTM leaders.
• Coach teams on consulting excellence, technical leadership, solution selling, and executive communication.
• Establish standards, frameworks, and reusable assets that improve consistency and delivery quality.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture focused on growth, innovation, and continuous learning.

What You'll Bring

• Deep expertise in data engineering, data architecture, data platforms, and cloud data ecosystems.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures, data governance, data products, metadata management, data quality, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud-native technologies on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI adoption patterns.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes and executive recommendations.

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for MD is $290,000 to $360,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
