The Opportunity

Winning by Design is looking to hire Managing Directors to support our growth across North America and Europe. A Managing Director (MD) is a commercial lead for Winning by Design, working closely with clients to diagnose the challenges they face, prescribe and sell the appropriate solution, and then collaborate with the delivery team to ensure exceptional outcomes for the customer.

The role requires you to establish and maintain relationships with relevant community partners, like VC & PE firms, and evangelize the Winning by Design approach to generate leads to support revenue growth.

Successful MDs are masters at generating demand for WbD in their region, evangelizing and educating go-to-market leaders on the impact of adopting a scientific approach to growth. However, Winning by Design supports you by providing inbound leads; creating demand generation content and programs you can repurpose. We also ensure you have access to a team of certified growth architects and trainers to deliver the cutting-edge consulting and training we are known for with our unique style.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a named set of accounts, including executive relationships – including both "net new" customers as well as developing new opportunities within the current customer base
  • Maintaining a territory plan as well as individual account plans for each account in the territory. Their goal is to be current and relevant to each account at multiple management levels and across multiple GTM functions.
  • Responsible for outbound prospecting and opportunity development.
  • Evangelizing the Winning by Design brand through speaking, networking and social media
  • Supporting relationships with local venture funds and private equity fund partners
  • Orchestrating a team of experts inside WbD to deliver client impact, including trainers, architects, analysts, project managers, and designers with expertise in marketing, sales, customer success, Revops, and enablement

Are You the Right Fit?

Winning by Design is looking for someone fitting the following characteristics :

  • 10+ years of SaaS or GTM consulting experience or have risen to a leadership role in a B2B SaaS organization in marketing, sales, customer success, sales strategy, or revenue operations
  • You are customer impact oriented and have the case studies to back that up
  • You can see the big picture, assess what matters, and separate signals from noise. Your insights cut through and focus on high-leverage insights appropriate for an executive.
  • You are tech savvy and familiar with the latest revenue tech platforms and have used some of those to do your job
  • You can communicate with an effective words-to-meaning ratio

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission : Enjoy significant earning potential through a model that rewards exceptional performance. Target earnings for an MD1 are $250,000 – $350,000.
