Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to define and govern target-state architecture for enterprise-wide .NET platforms and distributed applications. You will lead architecture reviews, drive roadmaps, and ensure security and resiliency across mission-critical systems.

This role focuses on ETRM experience, event-driven and microservices patterns, CI/CD, and platform engineering to enable scalable, reliable solutions in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target-state architecture for enterprise-wide custom .NET platforms and distributed applications.
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Establish architectural principles, standards, governance processes, and reference architectures.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight across programs, projects, and engineering teams.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems supporting mission-critical processes.
• Architect event-driven, microservices-based solutions using modern .NET technologies.
• Define integration patterns for applications, APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure platform resiliency through reliability, observability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Define strategies for containerization, orchestration, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD, DevSecOps, IaC, and automated testing practices.
• Define enterprise security architecture standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish secure development, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection frameworks.
• Work with cybersecurity teams on architecture risk assessments and remediation planning.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide platform adoption recommendations.
• Review solution architectures for alignment with enterprise standards.
• Identify technical debt and create remediation and modernization plans.
• Lead architecture decision-making forums and steering committees.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $185,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
