Position Overview

ERM is seeking a Gulf Coast-based (Texas & Louisiana) Managing Consultant, Project Manager to join our Capital Project Delivery team. This role supports clients in the Diversified Energy Industry, including oil & gas and power sectors, focusing on managing project risk and delivery of capital projects that are reshaping the energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large, complex, multidisciplinary projects through all lifecycle stages, including scope, budget, and delivery oversight.
  • Handle multi-media permitting for energy projects, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., USACE, FERC, NEPA, TX/LA permitting).
  • Contribute technical expertise on permitting strategies, impact assessments, and quality control.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years (preferably 7+) in consulting or energy sector experience.
  • Expertise in Impact Assessment, NEPA, FERC, or similar agencies; ESHIA is a plus.
  • Understanding of energy regulations and ability to support business development.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
