What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and advise clients on complex IT controls, including user access and change management controls
- Drive testing application controls related to complex business and IT processes
- Evaluate segregation of duties conflicts and provide recommendations during system implementations
- Review the work of others and participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits
- Serve as a liaison between the client and project team, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of risk advisory work experience involving accounting, risk, and compliance
- Experience supporting and conducting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits
- At least 4 years of experience in developing technology risk management programs
- Experience with or knowledge of IFRS and managing financial statement audits at a large accounting firm
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of experience performing risk and internal control assessments in highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of FIDICA, ESG, COSO, and PCAOB frameworks
- Experience leading financial audit teams and coaching team members on technical accounting topics
- Familiarity with Future Ready technologies like Alteryx and UiPath Process Mining
