Job summary

CIP P.C. is seeking a Managing Attorney with extensive business immigration expertise to lead a team of attorneys and paralegals, drive client relationships, and ensure exceptional service.

This remote-friendly, permanent, full-time role requires building client strategies, mentoring staff, and contributing to firm growth. Ideal candidates hold a JD, state bar admission, and at least 8 years of experience, including 5+ years at CIP, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• Admittance to the State Bar.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience; at least 5 years at CIP, PC.
• Prior team management experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file cases for acceptance and approval across all case types.
• Recommend options and strategy and implement recommendations without supervision.
• Manage Enterprise clients and guide them through processes.
• Mentor team members and support partners with team management.
• Review marketing materials and support Envoy/CIP sales and marketing initiatives.
• Present trainings and webinars to clients and potential clients.
• Communicate law and policy updates to the team/firm.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and file cases for acceptance and approval (all case types)
• Recommend options and strategy and implementrecommendationswithout supervision
• Perform client management of Enterprise clients and guiding these clients through processes
• Manage, guide, and mentor team members, and support Partner with team management
• Review marketing material and support Envoy/GIA sales and marketing initiatives
• Perform reporting/auditing duties
• Presenttrainings and webinars to clients and potential clients
• Communicate law and policy updates to team/firm
• Interview and provide hiring recommendations
• Demonstrate legalcompetencies
• Demonstrate behavior in relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners (i.e.Envoy, vendors, etc.) that is professional, proactive, considerate, and accountable
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Admittance to the State Bar
• At least 8 years of related experience; At least 5 yearsofexperience at CIP, PC
• Prior team management experiencerequired
• Consistently meets SLEs (Service Level Expectations)
• Expert levelproficiencyin MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms; Bilingual a plus, but notrequired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to gain rapport, foster relationships, and provide excellent dedication to exceptional client service
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy of work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Annual Salary Range: $175,000-$215,000
