Job description

Renesas is seeking a Manager, Web Content Strategy to lead how our product, technology, and solution content is planned, structured, governed, and optimized across renesas.com and the broader digital ecosystem. This role will ensure customers can easily find and understand authoritative information throughout the buying and design journey, whether they are using the website, traditional search engines, partner platforms, or emerging AI-powered experiences.

This is both a strategic and people‑leadership role. You will define the vision, roadmap, governance model, and standards for Renesas content across web experiences, product content, blogs, videos, and other digital channels. You will also guide the team and cross‑functional partners in improving content quality, consistency, discoverability, operational efficiency, and business impact across the global digital ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in web content strategy, content operations, governance, digital experience optimization, and team leadership, with an understanding of how search and emerging AI experiences influence content discovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content strategy: Define and evolve Renesas content strategy across product, technical, and marketing content, ensuring the information customers need is available throughout the buying and design journey. Establish content priorities, identify gaps, guide editorial roadmaps, and align content investments with business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Team leadership: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team responsible for content strategy, search strategy, governance, intake processes, and optimization initiatives. Establish priorities, clarify ownership, drive execution, and foster a customer‑centric, data‑driven approach to content quality and discoverability.
  • Content operations & governance: Establish scalable content intake, review, and governance processes that ensure content requirements, metadata, taxonomy, discoverability considerations, and supporting assets are complete before work is handed off to web production and development teams. Drive consistency, quality, and operational efficiency across the content lifecycle.
  • Search & content discoverability: Provide strategic direction for SEO, GEO, onsite search, and emerging AI discovery initiatives, partnering with search specialists to establish priorities and integrate discoverability considerations into the broader content strategy. Ensure Renesas content is structured to be findable, understandable, and authoritative across web, search, partner, and AI‑powered experiences.
  • Information architecture & taxonomy: Define and evolve content architecture, taxonomy, metadata standards, and organizational frameworks that improve findability, scalability, consistency, and discoverability across web, search, AI, and partner ecosystems.
  • Measurement and insights: Establish reporting frameworks across content quality, customer engagement, discoverability, operational effectiveness, and business impact. Partner with analytics and search specialists to define meaningful measures for SEO and AI visibility, identify optimization opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Market awareness: Monitor platform changes, competitive activity, emerging tools, and shifts in search behavior to recommend strategic adjustments, bringing an experimentation mindset that tests new approaches and doubles down on what works.
  • Cross‑functional partnership: Act as the connective tissue across content, web, engineering, product, and executive stakeholders to communicate priorities, create shared touchpoints, and drive execution.
