$80,000 - $90,000 per year /

Reporting to the Director of Warehousing, the Warehouse Manager III oversees all Commercial Warehouse activities in the Southern California region. Manages warehouses generating up to $8.5 million in annual revenue, covering 250,000 sq ft and up to 15 warehouse staff.

Responsible for warehouse operations, ensuring the coordination and safety of goods incoming and outgoing. Ensures inventory accuracy and quality control. Manages the financial performance of warehouses through P&L statements and maintains productivity standards.

Acts as the facility manager for assigned buildings, handling security, maintenance, and vendor relations. Develops strategies to improve employee engagement and fosters a positive work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage warehouse to meet financial and productivity targets.
2. Oversee safety, productivity, and accuracy of warehouse staff.
3. Ensure efficient, accurate, and safe processing of all orders.
4. Use data-driven tools to resolve operational issues.
5. Handle hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
6. Lead or participate in Six Sigma projects.
7. Maintain inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.
8. Manage building security, maintenance, and vendor relations.
9. Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
10. Support sales with pricing and proposals.
11. Manage customer contracts and web portal training.
12. Establish and maintain vendor relationships.

People Management:

1. Ensure accurate billing communication.
2. Develop performance standards and conduct reviews.
3. Hire, train, support, and coach team members.
4. Manage timekeeping and scheduling.
5. Coordinate with HR on disciplinary matters.
6. Set SMART goals and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Customer Relations:

1. Act as the primary contact for escalations.
2. Maintain excellent customer service and relationships.
3. Promote company mission and vision.

Training & Employee Engagement:

1. Identify training needs and deliver training sessions.
2. Foster a positive and engaging work environment.

Safety & Other Duties:

1. Uphold safety standards daily.
2. Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Requires a BA/BS in Business Management or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in management roles involving operations, warehousing, and distribution. Proficiency in MS Excel, WMS, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid CA driver’s license required.
