The ideal visual merchandising manager is a strong communicator, highly organized, and fashion-oriented. The visual merchandising manager is responsible for coaching and developing in-store visual teams while achieving strategic company objectives and maintaining visual merchandising consistency.

A day in the life…

• Knowledgeable in all visual merchandising strategies and current trends to help sell products and support company sales goals.

• Transparent and consistent in communication with leadership, ensuring brand integrity.

• Ensure understanding of visual directives across all departments, focusing on customer experience and fashion-relevant styling, aligned with current trends to boost in-store sales.

• Support merchandising, signage, and implementation of visual directives, customizing as appropriate for each store.

• Oversee the execution of the in-store lighting program, including installation, removal, and adjustment of lighting for promotional, general, and visual enhancement purposes.

• Uphold all visual safety protocols, including shop and visual space organization.

• Previous experience in visual merchandising at Nordstrom.

• Proven success in current role with a strong record of driving results.

• Strong organizational, delegation, and follow-through skills.
