Job summary

Capital Electric, a Sonepar company, is seeking a VMI Specialist to coordinate vendor managed inventory at customer sites and ensure product availability. You will drive to client locations, manage replenishment, and work with sales, purchasing, and logistics teams to maximize service levels.

The role requires driving 2+ hours to sites, lifting 50+ lbs, and using Eclipse for order entry. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Utilize Eclipse and bar code scanning hardware/software in daily workflow.

A VMI Specialist coordinates vendor managed inventory and control activities at the customer site locations. They seek to maximize customer service, satisfaction, and ultimately the availability of Capital Electric products at the point of purchase / warehouse, and add value to the business through speed of service (efficiency) and relationship management (growth).

The VMI specialist is responsible for conducting customer site inventory, and replenishment of material while excelling in customer service. The VMI Specialist is required to communicate with customer personnel as well as with Capital Electric's inside and outside sales team. This role requires the ability to work effectively with Eclipse, and with bar code scanning hardware and software. The VMI specialist must interact with many different departments within Capital Electric including: sales, purchasing, inventory control, logistic and credit.

Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour
