Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking an experienced Manager, US Expansion EHS Program Manager to develop, standardize, and implement regional EHS programs across Idaho and New York. You will drive communications, training, data management, and governance to ensure regulatory compliance and scalable operational excellence.

The role focuses on establishing regional processes, leading continuous improvement, and delivering visibility into EHS performance for senior leadership.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an EHS communication strategy that aligns Idaho and New York operations.
  • Create and manage EHS messaging, newsletters, presentations, leadership talking points, and EHS awareness campaigns.
  • Support US Expansion EHS town halls, leadership meetings, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop tools and communication materials that enable leaders to reinforce key EHS programs and expectations.
  • Establish and maintain a standardized US Expansion EHS document management system.
  • Lead the development, review, revision, and governance of EHS procedures, standards, guidance documents, and program documentation.
  • Coordinate training program development and deployment to support regulatory compliance and operational needs.
  • Manage and support training records, training matrices, and competency tracking across multiple locations.
  • Ensure EHS content remains current with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Serve as the owner for US Expansion EHS performance reporting, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into leading and lagging indicators, compliance status, training completion, incident trends, and organizational performance.
  • Analyze EHS data and identify opportunities for proactive risk reduction and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence, digital transformation, and site EHS teams to improve data quality and reporting effectiveness.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for leadership reviews.
  • Provide oversight and governance of construction medical clinic operations supporting major expansion projects.
  • Partner with medical providers, contractors, Risk and EHS teams to ensure effective case management and injury prevention processes.
  • Manage regional workers' compensation programs, including reporting, tracking, trend analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities to reduce injury severity and claim costs, and support return-to-work programs where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements related to occupational health and injury management.
  • Lead the implementation of US Expansion EHS programs designed to drive consistency and operational excellence across Idaho and New York.
  • Identify best practices and standardize successful processes across locations.
  • Develop metrics to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic initiatives associated with Micron's U.S. Expansion and long-term EHS vision.
  • Build strong partnerships across EHS, Construction, Operations, HR, and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Manager, US Expansion EHS Program Manager

As an US Expansion EHS Program Manager at Micron Technology, you will play a critical role in developing, standardizing, and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs that support Micron's expanding operations in both Idaho and New York. This position serves as a key integrator across sites, ensuring consistency, scalability, and operational excellence in EHS communications, documentation, training, data management, occupational clinic management, and workers compensation database management.

You will work closely with EHS leaders, site teams, construction partners, medical providers, and business stakeholders to establish regional processes, drive continuous improvement, and provide visibility into EHS performance across the U.S. Expansion organization.

Key Responsibilities
EHS Communications & Employee Engagement Campaigns

Preferred
  • Experience in EHS, occupational health, workers' compensation, construction safety, or industrial operations.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Learning Management Systems, and document management platforms. Artificial Intelligence should be used to leverage aspects of this position including data and dashboard management; communications, and other identified opportunities.
  • Experience supporting large-scale construction or manufacturing environments.
