Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to join our local rental branch team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn how to run a successful rental location while delivering a great customer experience and supporting daily branch operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated, customer‑focused, and interested in growing into a leadership role. With structured training and real‑world experience, you’ll prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales, or related roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships and applying sales techniques.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by guiding customers through the rental process and resolving questions.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle prep, lot organization, and compliance tasks.
• Collaborate with branch leadership on scheduling, team communication, and performance coaching.
