Job Title: Manager Trainee DC at Menards

Job Description: As a Manager Trainee, you will work closely with Department Management to learn each department’s functions and how each department contributes to the success of the Distribution Center.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead team members in your area.
  2. Ensure all products are received and shipped efficiently.
  3. Maintain all areas in good repair, orderly, and clean.
  4. Use equipment to capacity to fulfill orders.
  5. Enforce safety policies, keep training up to date, and ensure equipment is guarded and well maintained.
  6. Document safety training and maintenance activities.
  7. Communicate openly with team members regarding safety issues.
  8. Collaborate with supervisors and managers to achieve goals.
  9. Innovate to improve current processes.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field such as Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
  • Ability to relocate.
  • Clear and accurate communication skills.
