Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role offers exposure to sales, operations, and fleet management within a fast-paced environment.

You will learn CRM practices, finance processes, and performance coaching while contributing to customer satisfaction and team success.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Support team with cleaning, lot management and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow management, build skills in scheduling and performance coaching.

We’re hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

What You’ll Get:

• The hourly rate / wage for this role is $19.00.
• Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime).
• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay).
• Sick Pay: Granted Up to 40 hours.
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays).
