Overview

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) focuses on delivering flexible, local rental solutions outside of airport hubs. The Manager Trainee role supports location performance, develops leadership skills, and prepares for promotion to Branch Manager within 12–18 months. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

Schedule

Sun‑Wed 2 pm–11 pm and Saturday 10 am–4 pm; Off Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.

Operations & Fleet Management

• Gain hands‑on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.

Vehicle and Facility Care

• Support team with miscellaneous tasks including cleaning, preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.

Finance & Administration

• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.

Leadership Development

• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
• Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
• Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training.
• Learn how the role contributes to the overall financial wellbeing of the company.
