The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role providing work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management. Progression to management may occur within 8-12 weeks based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations, including policies and customer service.
• Handle financial management, including analyzing P&L statements.
• Oversee staffing, training, and development.
• Manage inventory and support store performance.

MITs support the Store Manager and are responsible for completing training and demonstrating progress to remain in the program. Promotion to management depends on performance and openings.
