Position Overview

The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role designed to prepare candidates for Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. The program typically lasts 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance
• Support store operations including management, supervision, and policy implementation
• Manage financials, including analyzing and reconciling P&L statements
• Oversee employee staffing, training, and development
• Manage inventory and lead customer service efforts

MITs are also responsible for completing training modules and demonstrating progression to be considered for management roles. Promotion is not guaranteed and depends on performance and availability.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Previous automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not required

Compensation Range
