The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to a management role can occur within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store management, including policy implementation and store operations
• Manage financial aspects such as analyzing and reconciling monthly P&L statements
• Oversee employee staffing, training, and development
• Handle inventory management
• Lead customer service initiatives

MITs are responsible for completing training and demonstrating progress to remain in the program. Promotion to management depends on performance and availability.

Requirements

• 1-2 years retail management or supervisory experience
• Ability to work flexible full-time schedule, including weekends and overtime
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Automotive experience and financial analysis experience are a plus but not required
