Learn scrap metal grading and purchasing procedures, assist with employee training and safety compliance, and contribute to performance metrics and operations support in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of inventory, manufacturing, and database software.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor industrial environments.
• Degree in business/operations/logistics or related field required.
• Experience in recycling, manufacturing, warehousing or industrial operations preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with daily scrap yard operations.
• Monitor material receiving, processing, grading, and shipping.
• Ensure efficient yard traffic flow and material handling.
• Assist in scheduling employees and coordinating workloads.
• Provide service to commercial and retail customers.
• Support inventory tracking, reporting, and metrics.
• Promote safety policies and regulatory compliance.
