The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training opportunities to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Entry into the program may lead to a management position within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.
Responsibilities
An MIT is a management team member expected to Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance. Under the Store Manager's supervision, the MIT will lead a team, demonstrate initiative, and support overall store operations, including:
MITs must complete operations and management training, learn about key business aspects, and demonstrate consistent progress to remain in the program and be considered for management openings. Promotion to Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and management vacancies.
