Description

Budget is looking to add a Manager Trainee for its operations in Kansas City to its Kansas City team. Budget Manager Trainees are in short-term development to either manage a stand-alone store, or rentals and operations at the airport as part of our airport management team. This position involves all aspects of the rental process, including direct sales/customer service, vehicle inspections and check-in, inventory management, client follow-up and relations, vehicle detailing, and oversight of facilities. Job Duties:

• Assist Managers with the overall operation of rental agencies
• Oversee and ensure proper functioning of operational departments
• Monitor fleet and product flow to meet customer needs and reservation schedules
• Operate the computer counter agent control system (manage rental contracts, modifications, printing, updating manifests, etc.)
• Assist in maintaining daily inventory, both physical and computerized
• Promote and sell coverage options and upgrades (additional insurance, GPS, upgrades, etc.)
• Follow opening and closing procedures, ensure security measures
• Perform office duties: answering phones, ordering supplies, photocopying, handling routine inquiries, etc.
• Prepare reports and document daily activities
• Address customer inquiries regarding charges, vehicle damages, directions, etc.
• Support team environment by assisting other agents and locations as needed
• Participate in coaching and educating team members
• Assist with training, supervision, and motivation of team members
