Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to learn how to run a rental location, deliver great customer experiences, and support daily branch operations. You’ll train hands-on and prepare for a promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months.

The role offers a base wage of $16/hour plus incentives based on performance, with potential career growth in a dynamic rental environment at the Clarksville location.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated, customer‑focused, and interested in growing into a leadership role. With structured training and real‑world experience, you’ll prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months.

What You’ll Do

• Learn the rental car business through hands‑on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 20 years old
• Valid driver’s license required
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other professional experience preferred
• Strong communication, computer, multitasking, and time management skills
• A self‑motivated, adaptable approach with an interest in learning the business and growing into leadership
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance
