The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Depending on prior experience and performance, progression to management may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store management, including policy implementation and store operations.
• Manage financial aspects such as analyzing and reconciling monthly P&L statements.
• Oversee employee staffing, training, and development.
• Handle inventory management and deliver excellent customer service.

MITs are responsible for completing training and demonstrating performance for potential promotion. Promotion depends on performance and available openings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Previous automotive experience and financial analysis experience are preferred but not required.
