The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term role providing work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Store Management positions. Progression to management typically occurs within 8-12 weeks, depending on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance under the supervision of the Store Manager.
• Support overall store operations, including management, supervision, and policy implementation.
• Manage financials, including analyzing and reconciling monthly P&L statements.
• Handle employee staffing, training, and development.
• Oversee inventory management and customer service.

MITs must complete training and demonstrate progress to remain in the program and be considered for management roles. Promotion is not guaranteed and depends on performance and openings.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work full-time, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Automotive experience and financial analysis experience are a plus but not mandatory.
