The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion to Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to management may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.
An MIT is a management team member expected to live the pledge, deliver WOW! customer service, and drive store performance. Under the Store Manager's supervision, the MIT will maintain an engaged, productive team through strong leadership and initiative. Responsibilities include:
MITs must complete operations and management training, learn about the business and company culture, and demonstrate consistent progress to remain in the program and be considered for management roles. Promotion is not guaranteed and depends on performance and management openings.
