Northrop Grumman Corp. in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Manager Test Engineering 2 to lead a flight test instrumentation ops section within a classified portfolio. You will manage build-up, integration, checkout, and operations of large-scale systems, directing 15+ staff and coordinating schedules, spend plans, and proposals.

You will present status to senior leadership, support multiple shifts, and travel up to 10%. A DoD Secret clearance and a strong instrumentation background are required.

Qualifications

The position will be responsible for the build-up, integration, checkout, and operations of a large scale flight test instrumentation system.In addition to managing staff (15+ direct reports) and technical activities, you will be responsible for creating and managing schedules, spend plans, staffing plans, and developing proposals for future work. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
