Bread Financial is seeking a Manager, Technology Fusion Center Operations to lead incident management across IT infrastructure. The role is centered in the Fusion Center/SOC with hands-on problem solving and ongoing optimization.

Candidates should be lifelong learners, adaptable, and capable of clear executive communication. The position requires on-site work at the Easton/Columbus office with 1st shift hours and a focus on 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 cloud certification (AWS, Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud Digital Leader).
• 8-10 years in a NOC/SOC or similar ops center environment.
• 3+ years leading projects, mentoring or coaching.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with IT to develop solutions and communicate policies; provide executive updates.
• Manage production systems, test for availability, mitigate risks via incident management.
• Plan staffing projections; train front-line associates; ensure 24/7 operations and on-call rotation.

Job Summary

The Manager, Technology Fusion Center Operations is the subject matter expert and responsible for managing and monitoring Bread Financials IT infrastructure. This role will spend a majority of their time working in the Technology Fusion Center, SOC and other focused on incident management and remediation. This candidate should be a continuous learner, adaptable and a critical thinker.

Essential Job Functions

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents proactively and escape issues to technical support groups as appropriate. Analyze system errors and take corrective action. Analyze and manipulate processing schedules in accordance to established procedures and service level expectations. - (25%)
• Collaborate with IT Team in developing solutions to known problems to ensure the availability of production systems. Communicate general, technical and operational policies, procedures and best practices. Respond to complex problems escalated by leadership. Provide clear and concise executive level communication and updates on status, issues and risks. - (20%)
• Manage production systems to ensure efficient and effective processing. Perform testing as required, to confirm network availability and resiliency. Identify risks, and communicate and mitigate them utilizing the Incident and Problem Management processes. - (25%)
• Plan and execute staffing projections and development plans for front-line associates. Document progress and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a SME, training less experienced IT Command Center Analysts. Show urgency and commitment for 24/7 operations, participating in the on-call rotation - (30%)

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 cloud certification- AWS cloud practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud- Cloud Digital Leader
• 8-10 years of experience working in a network operations center, SOC, or other operations center environment.
• 3+ years leading project(s), mentoring and/or coaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• ITILv4 Foundations Certification
• 10-13 years of experience working in a network operations center, SOC, or other operations center environment.
• 5+ years leading project(s), mentoring and/or coaching experience.

$112,400.00 - $179,900.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
