Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Manager of FP&A to support the Technology organization. You will manage base and initiatives spend, leading close, forecast, and budget processes for the CIO department and business unit. Work with MT Finance to derive insights and drive improvements in FP&A systems.

Lead automation initiatives and data-driven transformation. 7+ years in FP&A or related fields preferred, with strong communication and collaboration skills to present to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
• 7+ years combined experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, or corporate development and strategy.
• Experience with technology finance and financial consolidations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage base and initiatives spend for the department and CIO, including cost optimization and forecast accuracy.
• Lead close, forecast, and budget processes for the department / Business unit.
• Analyze financials, trends, and inputs to improve forecast accuracy with MT Finance teams.
• Own allocations processes (monthly/quarterly/annual) and study variance explanations.
• Drive transformation using data, automation, and process improvement.
• Define and create requirements for MT Finance tools (BPC, SAC) and collaborate with IT.

Job description summary

As a Manager of FP&A supporting the McKesson Technology organization, manage financials for the department / business unit CIO’s direct expenses and allocations. Work with the McKesson Technology finance teams to understand trends and derive insights for the Technology organization. Responsible for driving improvements on key FP&A systems and tools. Simplification and process improvement work for Technology finance.

• Department / Business unit CIO support: Support management of base and initiatives spend in given department and business unit CIO, proactive management around driving cost optimization and forecast accuracy. Manage and lead close, forecast, budget processes for the department / Business unit
• Analysis of financials: Review the financials, trends, and other inputs to identify where we might improve upon our forecast accuracy working with the broader MT Finance teams
• Allocations: Own monthly / quarterly / annual processes around running allocations in BPC and quarterly allocations billing process partnering with the accounting team. Set up templates for the MT Finance team to utilize for variance explanations.
• Drive transformation using data, automation, process improvement
• Automation: Lead the MT Finance team in defining and creating requirements for MT Finance tools, such as BPC and SAC and work with IT team to implement changes and enhancements.

Critical Skills

• Extensive experience within Technology Finance
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with Financial Consolidations and Reporting
• Change Management
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
• Understanding and utilization around data strategy, data model, visualization and efficiency driving tools
• Results Orientation: must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to deliver results and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed expectations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time management skills able to successfully manage multiple competing multiple priorities
• Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to senior leadership
• SAP/BPC Experience

Strongly Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
• 7+ years combined experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, or corporate development and strategy

Physical Requirements

• Working from office 1-2 days a week

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $102,800 - $171,300
