Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager, Technical Delivery within the Digital Nexus Technology organization to lead delivery for the Workbench AI platform. You will own delivery execution, sprint scheduling, and release alignment for Workbench engineering workstreams.

You will partner with Product Management, Architecture, PMO, and Release Management to translate roadmaps into actionable delivery plans, manage risks, and provide executive-level updates on sprint health and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience leading technical delivery or software engineering initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master's or MBA is a plus.
• Strong expertise in Agile, SDLC, release management, and delivery governance.
• Hands-on proficiency with work management tools such as Jira, GitHub, ADO, including backlog management, metrics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery execution, sprint scheduling, and release alignment for Workbench engineering workstreams, mitigating risks and ensuring release readiness.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, PMO, and Release Management to translate roadmap goals into actionable delivery plans and synchronize milestones.
• Serve as the techno-functional delivery lead, driving agile ceremonies, backlog quality, estimation discipline, and board hygiene across Jira and GitHub.
• Establish and maintain robust delivery dashboards and KPIs to provide transparent visibility into team health, sprint velocity, quality metrics, risk profiles, and executive status updates.
• Act as the technical bridge between Product and Engineering, guiding prioritization with a strong grasp of architecture, cloud services, APIs, integrations, and trade-offs.
• Develop lightweight automation solutions, PoCs, and reporting tools to enhance productivity, while building AI agents/workflows using Azure AI Foundry and enterprise AI tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery execution, sprint scheduling, and release alignment for Workbench engineering workstreams, proactively mitigating risks, tracking dependencies, and removing roadblocks to ensure reliable release readiness
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, PMO, and Release Management to translate roadmap goals into actionable delivery plans, optimize work allocation, and maintain cross-functional synchronization across all delivery milestones
• Serve as the techno-functional delivery lead driving agile ceremonies, enforcing backlog quality, estimation discipline, and board hygiene across work management tools such as Jira and GitHub
• Establish and maintain robust delivery dashboards and KPIs to provide transparent visibility into team health, sprint velocity, quality metrics, risk profiles, and executive-level status updates
• Act as the technical bridge between Product and Engineering, leveraging a strong grasp of solution architecture, cloud services, APIs, integrations, and engineering trade-offs to guide informed prioritization
• Develop lightweight automation solutions, proof-of-concepts, and reporting tools to enhance team productivity, while building, testing, and evaluating AI agents and workflows using Azure AI Foundry and enterprise AI tooling

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent experience leading technical delivery, program execution, agile delivery, or software engineering initiatives, with a proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional technology programs from planning through release
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required; Master's degree or MBA from an accredited college or university is a plus
• Strong expertise in Agile, SDLC, release management, and delivery governance, with demonstrated success managing sprint execution, dependencies, risks, release readiness, and operational reporting
• Hands-on proficiency with work management tools such as Jira, GitHub, ADO and others, including backlog management, work item hygiene, board administration, reporting, metrics, and delivery tracking
• Exceptional organizational and execution skills, with a reputation for being highly detail-oriented, structured, disciplined, and proactive in managing priorities, owners, timelines, dependencies, and follow-through; Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively partner across Product Management, Engineering, PMO, Architecture, Release Management, Risk functions and Security teams while providing clear, executive-ready updates
• Experience being hands on and working with Azure, enterprise AI platforms, Foundry, agent frameworks, or related AI technologies; proven experience building Power BI dashboards and operational analytics solutions.
