Job description

SafetyCulture is a global technology company that is helping to transform workplaces around the world. Our mission is to help working teams get better every day and our technology platform and products give front line workers a voice and leaders the visibility to make smart decisions when driving safety, quality and continuous improvement.

SafetyCulture is among the fastest-growing tech companies. Our bold ambition is to reach 100 million users worldwide by 2032. Opportunities to help shape a journey like this do not come around often!

The Role

As we scale our impact in the world, the complexity of our customers' environments grows too. We're looking for a hands-on technical pre-sales leader to build and lead our Technical Architecture function — owning how SafetyCulture fits into our customers’ enterprise ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Services Partners. You'll lead a small, high-impact global team of customer-facing Technical Architects focused on areas like identity, integrations, reporting, and analytics. You'll also play a key role in shaping how we work with implementation partners and support enterprise deals.

How will you spend your time
  • Build the Technical Pre-sales Function: Define what great technical architecture looks like at SafetyCulture — processes, playbooks, tooling, and standards.
  • Lead the Team: Hire, coach, and support a team of customer-facing Technical Architects. Guide their work across pre-sales focused on Enterprise and Strategic Accounts.
  • Be hands on: Also work directly with customers yourself, leading from the front with your team, experiencing first hand their environments, challenges and delivering impact for SafetyCulture.
  • Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to align customer needs with platform capabilities.
  • Drive Scale Through Partners: Work closely with our top services partners to extend our reach and ensure high-quality delivery at scale.
  • Shape Strategy: Own the roadmap for enterprise architecture engagement—from how we plug into customer systems to how we drive insights through analytics.
  • Communicate Effectively: Quickly master technical concepts, processes, details, and skills, and effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences
  • Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a scaling global SaaS business.
About you
  • You are a magnet for talent, with a proven leadership track record of hiring, developing and growing outstanding pre-sales or solutions engineering talent that ultimately drives success. You’ll wake up every day focused on building a world class team that can help our customers solve their problems.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise IT environments—identity (SSO, SCIM), APIs, reporting platforms, data architecture and security.
  • Strong commercial acumen—you understand the business impact of architecture decisions and how to support enterprise sales teams globally.
  • Experience working with or managing services partners - national systems integrators and GSIs.
  • A relentless focus on the customer - from understanding business and market challenges they face to role modelling what a great customer partnership looks like for the teams.
  • Experience and success in working in a truly global environment - across timezones, cultures and geographies. Our heritage is in Australia but our impact is global and you’ll be an effective leader at managing stakeholders across functions and countries.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skill
  • This is an opportunity to join a team and a company that can truly change the world and have a meaningful impact. If you have much of what we’re looking for we’d love to hear from you.
