As a Manager, Tax Projects at CarMax, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that impact property tax, sales tax compliance, and audits. This role serves as a Tax Subject Matter Expert (SME), analyzing current and future business processes to identify tax risks, influence strategic decisions, and implement best-in-class solutions. You will design new processes, manage change, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
This role will be based out of the CarMax Home Office in Richmond, VA and Associates will work onsite 4 days per week. We offer relocation assistance.
