FanDuel is seeking a Manager, Tax Counsel to support FanDuel’s product and technology teams in tax product matters. This role sits at the intersection of tax, product, and engineering and will play a key role in ensuring tax requirements are effectively translated into and maintained across FanDuel’s customer-facing products.
The ideal candidate will operate as a day-to-day advisor to cross‑functional teams, translating complex federal, state, and jurisdiction‑specific tax laws into clear, actionable guidance. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Tax, Legal, and Finance teams to support the ongoing integration of tax requirements into product functionality and user experience. Your guidance will directly inform product decisions and help shape how FanDuel delivers compliant, scalable customer experiences, while escalating complex or high‑risk matters to senior tax leadership.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

The applicable salary range for this position is $126,000 - $158,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
