Job description

The fastest-growing sports gaming company – ever.

We build innovative games, products, and experiences for American sports fans.

We’re here to shake up the fastest growing industry with bold ideas, custom-built tech, and the drive to win.

Founded in 2020, our team has built four of today’s most widely played fantasy games and launched the Underdog Sportsbook – built entirely in-house with our own technology. That means we control our product, move fast, and create experiences you won’t find anywhere else.

In just over two years, we’ve reached over a $1.2 billion valuation, with investors like BlackRock, Spark Capital, SV Angel, Mark Cuban, Kevin Durant, and Adam Schefter. And we’re just getting started.

At Underdog, we believe that sports are for everyone. Join us.

About the role and why it’s unique:

The Talent Ops Programs Manager will be responsible for executing high-impact talent initiatives that strengthen both our external presence and internal hiring infrastructure. You’ll lead strategic hiring programs such as employer branding, conference planning and engagement, and university hiring, while also driving operational improvements, recruiter and hiring manager enablement, and systems optimization.

  • Lead project management of internal recruitment operations initiatives, such as Greenhouse ATS optimization.
  • Collaborate with TA leaders, People team partners, and Recruiting Ops Associate to streamline recruiting workflows and improve hiring team experience.
  • Drive recruiter and hiring manager enablement efforts by partnering with L&D and People Programs Manager to roll out tools, training, and resources.
  • Own execution for hiring programs, including hiring conference participation, university outreach, and recruiting events.
  • Manage employer brand channels (Career site, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Comparably) and awards strategy. Identify opportunities for Underdog to maintain a competitive employer brand strategy and gain recognition as an employer of choice.
  • Partner with Employee Experience team to drive content creation and storytelling for internal and external audiences.
  • Identify and execute quick wins that improve hiring efficiency, candidate experience, and brand visibility.
Who you are:
  • 5+ years of experience in a recruiting operations / talent acquisition capacity.
  • A strong program and project manager who thrives on cross-functional work and execution.
  • Experience in recruitment operations with a track record of improving systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Skilled in developing and executing hiring programs (e.g. conferences, events, or campus outreach).
  • Well-versed in Greenhouse ATS, and a track record of optimizing the platform for scale.
  • A clear communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Able to think about hiring operationally and tactically – you see the big picture and know how to deliver the details.
  • Comfortable using tools like Slack, Google Suite, and Asana.
  • Energized by working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
Even better if you have:
  • Experience working with GoodTime, our scheduling tool for RCs.
  • Familiarity with EVPs, employer brand campaigns, recruitment marketing, and/or content strategy.
  • Exposure to diversity-focused hiring programs and/or community partnership development.
  • Worked in a tech or startup environment where you’ve been part of building processes from the ground up.

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $145,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.

What we can offer you:
  • Unlimited PTO (we're extremely flexible with the exception of the first few weeks before & into the NFL season).
  • 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
  • A $500 home office allowance.
  • A connected virtual first culture with a highly engaged distributed workforce.
  • 5% 401k match, FSA, company paid health, dental, vision plan options for employees and dependents.
