Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a leader to head a team of industrial and organizational psychologists who design, validate, and execute assessment strategies that guide talent decisions across the company. You’ll translate psychometric findings into executive-level insights shaping business decisions.

You’ll oversee validity studies, clinician-advisor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to align assessment programs with strategic talent needs and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience implementing, validating, and maintaining employee assessments.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Experience with R Studio, Tableau, Python/SQL for statistical analysis.
• Working knowledge of employment law related to selection and assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve talent assessment tools and processes such as structured interviews, simulations, and cognitive and personality assessments.
• Conduct validation studies, adverse impact analyses, and other psychometric evaluations to ensure assessments are legally defensible and predictive of performance.
• Partner with HR business partners and business leaders to align assessment strategy with organizational talent needs.
• Analyze large-scale assessment and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and deliver executive-level presentations that translate data insights into actionable recommendations tied to business outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships for assessment platforms and tools as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with relevant professional standards and regulations such as SIOP’s Principles and Local Law 144.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate assessment data into talent management and succession planning efforts.
