SVSU Saginaw Valley State University seeks a Manager for the SVSU Independent Testing Laboratory to plan and oversee administrative functions, perform testing for clients, and supervise student assistants. The role is a permanent opportunity within the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, with 40 hours per week.

To work with the Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology (SE&T Dean) to plan and oversee the administrative functions of the laboratory, perform testing and other contract work for clients, and supervise student and non-student assistants in carrying out the ITL's functions. This is a temporary position through October 31, 2027.
General supervision is received from the Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology
Functional and administrative supervision is exercised over student assistants and the assistant lab supervisor.
Reasonable knowledge of university policies and good laboratory practices is desirable.
Duties are generally performed inside but include outside seasonal activities. All work associated with this role must be performed within the state of Michigan.
