Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Nursing Manager to oversee the PACU, OP Surgery and PATC operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care with 24/7 accountability.

You will lead staffing, monitor outcomes, ensure compliance with policies, and support staff development. Qualified RN with ACLS/BLS/PALS within specified windows and an associate degree or RN diploma are required. This role partners with medical staff to optimize operational efficiency and patient safety.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• PALS within 90 days of start date
• RN licensed as Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Nursing Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered nursing care through 24/7 responsibility for the overall daily function and staffing of the PACU, OP Surgery and PATC. The Nursing Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
