We are looking for Managers with a strong track record in delivery, managing tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects within Amazon Transportation Services. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management about status, risks, and changes.

Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering challenging projects and goals across multiple organizations.
  • Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with program managers and business leaders to communicate and influence critical business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and govern Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility into milestones and performance, and using this data to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor planning metrics, compare actuals against plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly), identify gaps, analyze in-depth, and work with stakeholders to address them.
  • Address daily capacity challenges and serve as the escalation point for planning with site and operations teams.
  • Take ownership of long-term improvement initiatives focused on key KPIs.
  • Lead weekly capacity planning cycles, incorporate stakeholder requests, and ensure efficient planning.
  • Educate stakeholders on capacity planning topics and promote a self-service approach.
  • Work with Business Intelligence teams to develop dashboards and tools for S&OP execution.
  • Monitor critical metrics such as cost to serve, fill rates, on-time arrivals, and shipments; collaborate with Relay Operations Center (ROC) and carriers to optimize resource utilization.
  • Identify and develop performance metrics for each program, ensure consistent measurement, and perform data analysis using Excel, Access, SQL, or other systems. Create and track metrics to detect and eliminate defects.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of delivering cross-functional projects
  • 1+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics for improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
