Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to lead the GSC PM team onsite in Sierra Vista, AZ. You will drive cost and schedule integration, manage proposals, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet program commitments.

In this role, you will implement strategies for affordability and efficiency, ensure earned value baselines are maintained, and partner with senior leaders to resolve issues and optimize performance on the RQ-4 program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in supply chain mgmt, program mgmt, project mgmt, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning, operations or accounting; or Master’s with 3+ years; or HS diploma with 9+ years.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates cross-functionally to meet supply chain commitments and developan integrated mitigation or opportunity plans.
  • Serves as a focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit Leader within the GSCPM team.
  • Develops and executes GSC strategies to support the build process, focusing on affordability, efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Integrates cost and schedule data to support Earned Value Management baseline.
  • Manages proposals to ensure timely and quality submittals.
  • Oversees material financials to support program financial goals.
  • Monitors schedule performance and risk/opportunity management.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Global Supply Chain Program Management organization. This leadership position will be located onsite in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

This role is for a RQ-4 GSC Program Manager 2 and will be responsible, accountable and have the authority for the operational efficiency, strategy, planning, and execution associated with the GSC statement of work (SOW) for the RQ-4 Program. This role is part of the GSC Program Management team and will be challenged to resolve issues and implement solutions, in a fast-paced environment – including process improvements, tools, metrics, data integration, and coordination and collaboration with key GSC and program stakeholders.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed to address any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities related to procurement supply chain
  • The Manager will serve as a focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit Leader within the GSCPM team
  • Responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies to support the build process on the program, with focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first-time quality targets
  • Responsible for the accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of the Earned Value Management baseline
  • Proposal management to ensure the timely and quality submittal of Prime proposals
  • Management of material financials in support of Program financial goals

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning, operations or accounting, OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning, operations or accounting OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning, operations or accounting
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or project
  • Must have knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Must have SAP experience
  • Experience conducting presentations to and collaborating with Senior Leadership
  • At minimum, the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Government Property Management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Must have ability to create presentations that proficiently present problems and propose solutions to senior level management. An advanced level of proficiency in the use of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc) is preferred.

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
