Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager 2 to join our team. This role involves leading the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization within the Program Management Office (PMO) and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure supply chain commitments are met. The position is on-site in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Supply Chain Professionals accountable to the PMO for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) and coordinate cross-functionally to meet supply chain commitments.
- Oversee the GSC team to meet material budget requirements supporting PMO financial commitments.
- Be accountable for supply chain program execution including material budget, resource planning, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
- Develop the material strategy for GSC across all phases of the Business Acquisition Process, including leading the material estimating process and negotiating the budget with the PMO for the responsible program portfolio.
- Ensure before program execution that plans include complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement/subcontract strategies.
- Develop and execute mitigation plans addressing programmatic risks related to suppliers or supply chain execution.
- Provide briefings to the PMO and executive management on program status and action plans to address issues affecting supply chain cost and schedule performance.
- Lead initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and other functions to manage material performance and ensure timely delivery of hardware within budget.
- Act as the escalation path for the PMO to address issues in program execution related to the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Mgmt/Program Mgmt, Supply Chain or Operations Mgmt; OR a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in these areas; OR a High School Diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience in these areas; plus 1 year of team leadership or people management experience.
- Business Management experience.
- Ability to attain and maintain U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable time as determined by business needs.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Mgmt or Admin, Global Supply Chain, or Project Management.
- Aerospace and Defense experience.
- Solid understanding of supply chain and program management principles, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to build relationships with internal/external customers.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels of internal leadership and externally with suppliers.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Leadership and people management skills demonstrating engagement and teamwork.
- Earned Value management experience and Cost Account Management exposure.
- Proficiency in SAP, Tableau, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents.
- FAR/DFAR provisions knowledge, and understanding of ITAR and EAR requirements.
- Active U.S. Government Secret/Top Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $104,500.00 - $156,700.00. Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Long Term Incentives may be available for certain roles.
