Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a senior-level portfolio manager to oversee the day-to-day lifecycle of the Supply Chain Portfolio. You will coordinate with the Enterprise PMO, product and UX teams, technology groups, and supply chain teams to deliver strategic initiatives.

You will design dashboards, provide executive-level insights, and drive governance and accountability across programs, while mentoring staff and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Partners with cross-functional business leaders to oversee initiative funding, track business case realization, streamline status reporting, and drive proactive risk mitigation.
• Evaluates portfolio intake proposals to ensure data integrity, alignment of business cases, resource allocations, milestones, and cross-project dependencies.
• Designs and maintains executive-level portfolio dashboards and reporting frameworks for actionable program health visibility.
• Equips supply chain leadership with strategic analytical insights, quarterly business reviews, and high-impact presentations for executive decision-making.
• Monitors benefits realization, productivity gains, and operational outcomes to ensure initiatives meet financial and strategic objectives.
• Establishes portfolio governance standards, execution rigor, and accountability frameworks for high-quality project delivery.
• Coaches and develops team members while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time

Education and Experience
