Overview

As an individual contributor Manager, Contracts within the Collins Aerospace Supply Chain organization, you’ll play a key strategic role supporting the Sourcing and Procurement teams that keep our business moving forward. In this highly visible position, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership—driving contract strategy, ensuring compliance, and enabling seamless supplier partnerships that directly impact Collins’ operational success. From complex contract negotiations to providing sound legal and business guidance, you’ll help shape agreements that balance risk, innovation, and performance across our global supply chain.

What You Will Do

  • Drafts, generates, interprets and manages large and complex supply chain contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives
  • Directs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and cost control guidelines
  • Conducts contract negotiation, contract administration, and supply chain contract activities to ensure contract execution and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Manages small- to medium-sized projects
  • Advises and represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters
  • Negotiates and executes contracts
  • Provides legal advice on terms & conditions and contract administration
  • Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract negotiations
  • Maintains historical legal records
Education/Experience Needed
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
