The Role

As the Manager – Strategic Planning and Performance Management, you will support our long-range Supply Chain strategy to ensure we’re equipped to meet our future financial targets. You will play a crucial role in translating cross-functional data into compelling stories with clear recommended actions, analyzing the end-to-end Supply Chain portfolio to identify opportunities for optimization, and empowering the executive team to turn data insights into actionable strategies. Your Impact
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Lead the partnership with cross-functional teams across Finance, Ops, Sourcing, Logistics, and Distribution to prepare, build, execute, inform, and present the multi-horizon plan (LRP) at major financial milestones twice a year.
    • Conduct analysis across dashboards and reports, communicating insights in context with intent on a recurring basis, and improving data assets where applicable.
    • Identify risks or opportunities across the Global Supply Chain and create thoughtful quantitative business cases for mitigation or capitalization, to be presented to the leadership team.
  • Communication and Presentation:
    • Prepare presentation decks for key meetings (Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Sales & Operations Planning Meetings, etc.), owning the format and data materials, and partnering with leadership to gather commentary.
    • Act as the translator between business functions – communicating in a way that makes insights approachable and technical details meaningful.
  • Performance Management:
    • Co-own the Objective and Key Results (OKR) process for Global Supply Chain through partnering with the OKR system provider, coaching and supporting internal stakeholders in using the system.
Who You Are
  • Education/Certifications:
    • BA/BS in a quantitative field, or equivalent years of experience. (MBA or MS preferred)
  • Work Experience:
    • 8 years of experience in a Supply Chain role, management consulting, or relevant field.
  • Skills/Competencies:
    • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to inform an audience of all levels with succinct and clear messaging.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving and translation ability for a business audience. (Excel required, procedural programming languages a plus e.g., SQL, Python)
    • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau preferred).
    • Strong written and verbal communications, presentation, and facilitation skills. (Strong PowerPoint experience required)
    • Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong relationships with senior executives.
    • Navigating across various business functions to connect, build, and influence impactful outcomes comes as second nature to you.

$110,000 - $120,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
