Job summary

DFIN is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager to identify, evaluate, and develop strategic alliances that drive net new sales revenue across advisory, accounting, legal, PE/VC, ERP/VAR, and software partners. You will lead the full partnership lifecycle from target account identification to negotiation and enablement.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary:

In this position you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic partnerships to drive net new sales revenue to DFIN. Partners are within the Advisory/Accounting, Legal, PE/VC, ERP/VAR, and Software categories. Responsible for partner development through the full partnership life cycle including identification of accounts to pursue, negotiation, relationship, development, technical enablement, business planning, sales enablement, and growth. Work collaboratively with DFIN Global Capital Markets stakeholders to build relationships nationally and regionally.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, profile, research and develop new partnership alliances to support DFIN’s go to market sales strategy.
  • Works closely and creates cadences to consistently communicate with partner and sales leadership to provide a comprehensive and unified partner approach to the market.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of go to market strategies for new strategic partners, and the continuous improvement and further development of existing national partners as needed.
  • Lead generation through relationship building and executing go-to market campaigns, webinars, event/conference collaboration, and social awareness/involvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

10 years’ experience in sales and business development. Experience in building strategic alliances in a business-to-business environment. Degree in business, sales, or marketing.

  • Strategic planning - Develops and prioritizes target markets and organizations.
  • Creative problem solving - Finds win-win opportunities for DFIN and potential partners.
  • Communication - Has strong written, oral and presentation skills with strong Executive presence.
  • Analysis & solution development- Develops persuasive business cases.
  • Negotiating - Helps convince target organizations to partner with DFIN. Negotiates deal terms.
  • Channel conflict resolution Project Management - Manages several complex projects to successful completion.
  • Collaboration/teamwork - Works effectively with others, both internally and externally to achieve goals.
